U10`s Plate Final Reds v Blues

The eagerly awaited u10s plate final of middy reds v middy blues took place on Sunday 5th Feb, coaches Dom & Mark along with the parents decided to keep silent throughout the game and the lads really did let the football do the talking. I can honestly say every player gave it there all. After a very even 1st half with both sides having excellent chances to nick a goal middy reds made the break through thanks to Archie. The blues dug deep and got a well deserved equaliser through Cian with 10 minutes of match left to play. The blues could of won it in last few minutes but lady luck was on the reds side as they won on penalties 2-1 All was not lost for blues they knew they played well and was humble in defeat. We all went for a party afterwards and made the presentation of trophy and medals. A great day had by all, Well done boys.
